Stalin may actually have killed 4 times as many as Hitler.
Having had a family member survive the camps may not let be very objective about this based on the stories my great uncle told me. It is the stuff night terrors are made of. Loved ones were forced to pick which ones got killed. Some were forced to kill their own loved ones.
