I thought I'd post this in the hopes the members of this forum will keep Matt and his family in your thoughts and prayers. I lost not just a brother officer but a good friend who will be sorely missed.

it is very unforutunate to hear of a loss of someone trying to keep order in the world. especially someone so young.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, you and his family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers. It is a shame that we take for granted the sacrifice that those sworn to protect make for us everyday and only take time in tragedy to express our appreciation for all that they do. I am as guilty as any. But right now I would like to say thank you to Jade and Newsome and all those in law enforcement for all that you do everyday. Take Care friends.
