LOL- NO, At an office as small as Mine I have an Assigment to the jail divison, I get to take inmates to prison, pick up from other counties/ states on Warrants, and when called I get to go out on the road and do normal Patrol duties. any other time I'm among the inmates doing the "FUN" Stuff. We deal with them after thier dropped off- I even RE-Arrested a few after I find Drugs on them. There's the crazy ones to deal with, Suicides etc.

so just out of interest... what sort of crims do you get there?

just petty stuff, or the mad psycho one's who chop up people for kicks?

Well- Meth labs, domestic violence, DUI etc. We did have one guy that killed his wife in a county north west of us put her in a barrel and bury her under his parents driveway- he tolds us about that one after we found a body in his old auto shop buried in a corner- she was his Girlfriend who had been missing for about 11 months. They found her while trying to find another missing person- presumed dead. Here are some links to some other stuff-
