I left the trophy at home, so all you get is 5 quid gift certificate to McDonald's. The certificate is only redeemable at the store where Kick works, so I wouldn't use it if I were you!

I am still wondering if it wouldn't have been better to have the members themselves post - I figured we'd notice more readily, like when you reach a 1K post mark, but ... nope...

I'll give the gift certificate to some hobo in the street, last time I ate there I didn't feel well the next day.... The special sauce was very salty

I think it's more acceptable if others who notice put in the first congrats for them, otherwise you can kinda end up with attention seeking for it with people posting their own congrats (and we've seen that before

)

I seriously doubt we'd have the issue here, but I still think it is way better when others notice.

Like Wise making Samurai - I saw his rep, but the promotion cycle hadn't run yet - so I posted his congrats BEFORE his promotion.

That was kind of fun.
