vBulletin 3.6 has installed an infraction system. This is new to the Administration also, so be patient.
I have no real concerns on this forum about Spamming and other assorted problems. I intend on using the infraction system as more of a warning system for users.
The Administration will give infractions for things such as Serious Thread Hijacking, Oversized Images, and of course Spamming.
Each infraction has a point value and an expiration. Accumulation of 10 infraction points will land you back in the Peasant Rank Group. Additional Infractions will result in banning. A scenario I do not forsee, but am documenting now for posterity's sake.
Don't Sweat it, if you get an infraction for an oversized picture or signature or hijacking or summat. If you correct the problem the infraction may be revoked and unless you run around making problems the points will likely expire before you accumulate 10 points.
