Dabbled a little but never liked it, plus I have a control issue with myself...must be in control of all my faculties at all times.

Noods- I see the effects of coke in my industry all the time and absolutely hate it. What amazes me is how people think they are better for doing coke than other drugs.

Naahaaa, that's great bud I've heard some scary shit about pot off the street. A friend of mine who gets medicinal pot because of his disease was telling me with the store bought shit, they add fertilizer, which is ok technically. But you have to stop using it and only feed water for 4 weeks to get all the nasty shit in the fertilizer out. But apparently on the street they often only do one or two, meaning you're possibly getting something high in mercury and other chemicals. That and we're all now hearing stories about it having hard drugs in it, which is scary as hell.

I only stopped smoking about a year ago... but I did enjoy it, it calms ya. Hell.. never heard of anyone smoking a bit of dope and going home and hitting someone. Booze... different story

Good Bust Newsome . Anytime we can take drugs and thugz off the street it's a good thing. Unfortunately in the neck of the woods I live in, 140 lbs of weed won't make the news here. One of the major drug corridors coming into the US runs right by here and the South Texas Drug Task Force and local area law enforcement are always making big busts on drug smugglers. It's a sad sign of the times Newsome but just think it's job security for us .

Also GF, Newsome is right in that Meth has been around for a long time but so too is the cop who told you it was fairly new in the High School setting. Traditionaly the drug of choice for the school aged kids has been Marijuana and Z-bars but fairly recently (past 5 years or so) the harder stuff has been creeping in since it has become cheaper and easier to make.

Yeah.. Didnt think they were talking about Methamphetamine, I've read that's been around since the late 19th Century. Think what they were referring to was the fear of it in high school students, at least in Vancouver. A lot more time was spent scaring the shit out of us about crystal meth than most other drugs. The attitude on weed here is pretty damned tame to say the least... but from what we were told it's just now being found spiked with meth. Couldn't tell you for sure why there seems to be a panic over meth all of a sudden though... maybe it's just becoming popular here

I think we've had this talk before... but what to the police officers (or anyone) think about marijuana compared to other drugs? Would you rather see 140 lbs of coke or heroin be taken off the streets, or is it all just as evil to you? I've heard that in some places in the states all are on the same level. That's NOT the case in BC; being caught with weed here is hardly a slap on the wrist (as long as you're not growing or trafficking).
