.......... Today is a very sad day. Gold Diggers everywhere have lost an important icon, and from what I understand, the market for Wal-Mart brand make-up has come to a grinding hault, and tabloids across the globe have declaired today the ANS International Day of Mourning.

But honestly... her 20 year old son died only a few months ago. The grief musta been so tough, and the media makes nothing easy. It's a sad thing when any 39 year old dies.

I have been listening to the morons at work about this. Hard to believe, but not all Garbage Men are bright bulbs!!

I challenge anyone to suggest the have ANY idea what it is like to BE Anna Nicole Smith and to live her life.

I say, God Bless her and I suspect she is in a better place. Hell... HELL would have to be better than the place she seemed to be in!!!

Sad, but not surprising. Poor little girl- will never know her mother or brother. Hopefully she escapes the family curse.

A very sad tale indeed and I'm really not surprised in the least considering the problems she's had to endure. No doubt some movie mogul will make a mint out of this by making a film of her life and probably mix a lot of fiction with the facts.

Such a tragic waste of life. I wasn't a big fan of hers but I got the impression she had a lot of hurt inside but even more to give to others. Who really knows what hell she's been through?

Anyone hear of the exact nature of her death as all we heard in the UK last night was she was found unconscious but died an hour later?

found unconscious, a private nurse tried CPR for an hour before she was pronounced dead. I couldn't care less about this. I hate all those celebrity shows that tell me what kind of toilet paper Tom Cruise uses and why. I don't need to know anything about them other than when the next movie/CD/whatever it is they do comes out. I feel bad she died, but I don't care much about it either. My buddy started bashing her and I told him, "I don't care about her, and if she had been a nobody I wouldn't even know about it, but someone, somewhere cares about her, so don't be too harsh" and that's about how I feel.

Sad truth is few people are going to care beyond the innitial shock. She was tabloid-famous, and there are millions of sadder stories out there; but someone loved her, and we've heard of her... it doesnt show much humanity if we dont show some remource over the sad stories we actually do hear about (even if it's because she was made famous as a gold digger).

It'd be pretty low if we went "Oh, Rodney Dangerfield died... well I never liked him so who gives a shit." You dont get to/want to hear all the worse stories out there, but when you do, you lend your thoughts and prayers. Something tradgic happened, and therefore we should care.

....just these God damned Emo, self hating apathetic little shits who ripped off the Goths who I really expect not to truely give a damn about others.

I was shocked when my son told me on the way home from work yesterday. She did have a lot of pain in her life...I cannot imagine losing a son. It will not surprise me if she committed suicide. I was never a fan, but it is sad to see someone die so young and with so many inner demons.
