Whatever that is?

I've been trying to get a balance of work rest and play and it seems difficult trying to fit everything in nowadays.

I thought it was time to apologise up front to everyone as my time here has dwindled as of late though I do still log on everyday regardless and try to keep up with everyone's subject.

Just to keep you all up to speed I am enjoying my job tremendously though I am still looking for a better paid one.

I am very tempted to stay put as this job has no pressure whatsoever.

It will take time to get back to the level I was at, though I am at peace with everything and totally relaxed so as far as I'm concerned everything is NORMAL.

I need to get up to speed with everyone's life so I'm rather hoping you'll all give your news here and have a little chit chat.

For those I've not spoken to in a while I shall make amends ASAP and channel my energies to all concerned.

So please ......spread your gossip.

good to hear that about your new job spook....
trying to finish the remodel at the house and work on a few motorcycles at the same time,I have three motor rebuilds already in the garage. Outside of that things are rolling pretty smooth. One cool note our favorite architech just left the office with dad headed for the lake property to look around and get a picture in his head of the surroundings so he can start on a design for our new lake house. He took a disk with alot of my pics on it for inspiration too.

Glad you're settling in finally, Sp00ky.

Let's see, with me... well, I finished building Speedy's computer Saturday night, and spent most of yesterday getting all the necessary things loaded onto the hard drive.... OS, drivers, necessary programs... then last night, I took it for a test drive...

Popped my new, mega graphics hog first-person shooter in and maxed out the settings. Computer didn't even hesitate.

My birthday's tomorrow, and my new laptop will arrive then...

I am so looking forward to opening that box! Speedy will be here with me on Friday, and will be spending the entire weekend with me. We'll be celebrating my birthday, Valentine's Day, and our anniversary all in one weekend, so it should be fun.

Classes are going well. Having fun and learning, which is always good. Seems like it could be a very productive and easy-going semester all at once.

So in general... things seem to be looking up!

That is great news for you DC. Birthdays, Valentine, laptop, computer, party...er yeah my head is spinning already.

....Big plans for the future on the horizon or are you taking things one step at a time?

I am really pleased to hear things are improving for you too wisecat. Motorcycle business picking up and a new Lake House *whistles* I can imagine Rhiannon having her hands full too with working and everything going on around your lives.

I am actually off work until the 22nd of Feb.

I got holidays owed and I have to use them up before the end of March so....

Mind you I got a heck of a lot of repairs to do to our fences and my shed due to wind damage. Lots of other computer jobs in the pipeline but not busting a gut to do it all.

Hey Sp00ky,
Glad that things are looking up for you and that the job is better!

You are correct--it is kinda crazy, but when has my life ever not been...so I guess you would say normal. This is our busy time at work as people are working on their houses and need lots of help choosing colors and products. The past two days have been extremely busy.
Though I can't turn a wrench...I am trying to help Wise with the motorcycles on the accounting end. I can't wait til we get the shop open and I can really get into it.
Went to my Aunt's lake house this past weekend for a girls night out and had a blast--Thanks Wise for babysitting

I don't get to do that very often and it was a much needed break.
All in all I would say life is good!

trying to balnce everything is fairly normal to me although it gets has gotten more complex with 4 studios , 4 jobs(not all at once) ,and trying to kick back with the buds everynowand than

so i'm sure well all understand how you could preoccupied once and a while too.

I am not ignoring this thread. I find it great. I just wish I had time to come up for air.

This has been a brutal winter and has taken its toll on me. Now work is getting insane.

No worries my friends, it is just good to hear from you guys and that you are all still alive and kicking. Life comes first and our lifestyles change each and every day and we all know and understand how each others needs, wants and priorities change.

There are still members I've not heard from nor seen in a while and I do hope they are all ok as I sure you do too.

It is good to have news from everyone if only to satisfy our curiosities and of course our worries and concerns...we are after all one big family here.

Miss you!!! Glad you are happy and that things are working out for you!

Work has been a little nuts but great. I was supposed to move offices to the city at some point but it's starting to look like it won't ever happen.....there is no room for the 10 of us left behind. Oh well, I get to save $3,000 on a commute.

I'm thrilled..the people who've been left behind are a blast to be around. Everyone in the city is jealous and find any excuse to work with us. I am totally enjoying my job right now!

Going to California next week for an award show I get to cover. Awesome. I loooooove traveling on the company. The hotel is gorgeous...I'll be working but it should be fun. 2 more days than last year.

Still dating...sucks. Over eager men are not cool.
