And *grumbles* I did spend two weeks traveling visiting family up north.. and only 10 days in new york. It just so happens that I'm not happy with just having family visits in the summer... it's been 4 months and I'm itching to see them again. You know more about Tao than I do, but I know from the course I took on Chinese phil. that much of Tao is about wu wei, which is to say that one is to let things be, let nature take its course, dont push anything too hard. I just think that you trying to instill the grinch in everyone or make them check their feelings on a fun holiday doesnt come off as very Taoist... at least not to the non-expert here
