I've been up since 6am (work) and finished at 6pm then straight to hospital to visit my good lady. I've just got back and it is now 9.25pm.

I need food and a drink drastically. Will have to tidy up tomorrow somehow if I find the time.
Spoke to the nurse on the way out...Linda has had everything removed so she will have to be put on Hormone Replacements also she will not be able to sleep in our bed for at least 2 weeks after she comes out as it means climbing up the stairs which is a no no! Will have to make a bed downstairs for her and get her comfortable as possible. No bending or lifting of anything whatsoever.
it will definitely be a challenging time and I can only afford to take a couple of weeks off work to take care of her but family and friends are rallying round to assist.
Just looking forward to having her home where she can relax and have company and people to care for her. I know she's being well looked after but its hard not having your loved ones near.
Still the op was a success and only a week at most in hospital as long as there are no complications.
Hard being apart from her and 3 weeks of sleeping by myself....maybe more.
Life is strange...
Right now for a drink and some food...mmm.
