So, that's basically a "pound" per liter? There are 100p in a pound, I'm assuming.
If so... what's a guinea? And no I don't mean a small non spikey hedgehog.
And the pound is, what..? Like $1.75US?
U.K. money has always confused the chit outta me.

When I was in England up until 1982 petrol was at about .£2.20 per imperial gallon which was already well over $4 per gallon. I was amazed.
I know a lot places in Europe are now paying the equivalent of $7-8 US dollars for petrol and diesel. I am still amazed at the difference.

Re: Gas prices today?
Daimler Chrysler products will be incorporating the BlueTec diesel into their US line up. Several Mercedes models are ready for the 07 model year and one of the Jeep products already has a diesel option. There are going to be a lot of other diesel chocies once we get the clean diesel into the market very soon.
Here in Wisconsin regular unleaded is stil in the 2.40 range. Diesel is around $3.
I have a friend in Louisiana near Shreveport that is getting regular unleaded for $1.97.
The south is the place to be for the good prices as Wisecat's pic proves.

Re: Gas prices today?
Still close to $3/gallon for regular here.
At the fair picked up some great info on converting Diesel to vegy-oil. The company here sets up with a 55gal drum and comes round every week or two to refill it.
total cost = $3000 for conversion, but then only $1.65 per gallon for the fuel, delivery included in that price. You'd make your money back pretty quickly and be helping the environment. I like the idea.

Re: Gas prices today?
I have learned how to make bio diesel from veggie oil. The problem is she gets pissed when I take some and she is a mod so I don't want to get banned.
Seriously though, diesel got so crazy here and the cheap bio diesel guys were getting tapped out and it was discovered that the house brand of veggie oil at Sam's Club was cheaper so there was a huge run on Sam's veggie oil. I am looking for 1990-1993 Benz diesel to convert. They are fairly priced, very durable and there is a lot of support for the conversion which is only $1200.
