Yeah but do you really need all that space? Most albums you've got songs on you'll skip so I think the 8GB Nano would do me as then it'd be select but great tunes on it

And it's dead sexy

Nice but you can't play viedeos on the nano. otherwise i'd have one myself.

I was toying with the idea of the Sandisk E280 which is similar to the ipod and plays vidoes too. You can also use micro SD to add more memory etc.

It's a slight downside but I'd rather have a proper MP4 player to play clips on, although the Creative M Vision is supposed to be good, an iPod rival

I'm just wondering what everyone thinks of the different style Ipods or the ever increasing amount of different mp3 players thats available?

Like I've said already sp00k I'd go for the new iPod Nano 8GB (Black, of course).

Although it doesn't play videos it's one that I would purely use for music and setting up playlists of my favourite songs, not a player I would use for whole albums as I'd be skipping songs too often

If I was going to get one that had video on it too it'd be either a MP4 player or the Creative M Vision which is a reasonable price and smart looking

Lots to choose from I know and the sad thing is you might pick one thats really appealing then a few months down the line some other snazzy gizmo comes out.

Another case of technology and materialism getting way outta control. Its hard to keep up with.

Before you know it all you'd have to do is stick a memory card in your arse and you'll hear the music

Ok, that's probably going a bit far

As money an issue for me I can't go out buying a new player for now, got to wait for my Christmas bonus which I'm hoping will be a good un this year

I've got the 30GB iPod video and am not really impressed... it freezes up on me all the time, and just isnt as tough as the previous ipod (although its size is quite nice)

A friend of mine had a similar problem with the 3rd Gen iPod, he charged it and went to play a song and it froze, and cause you can't remove the battery you can't get it to turn off so it had to be left for the day to die on it's own accord

My wife has just ordered the Sandisk E280 and armband for me. (our anniversary soon).
I threw hints for the Ipod 80gb but I aint complaining. 8Gb plus upgrade with micro SD cards so not too bad. Ordered from Amazon.co.uk

Now what do I buy her?
