This is some interesting reading.

I am still a bit shocked this was ever declassified and made public.

Dirtbag passed this on to me via email earlier.

Quoting:
Such a plan would enable a logical build up of incidents to be combined with other seemingly unrelated events to camaflouge the ultimate objective and create the necessary impression of Cuban rashness and irresponsibility on a large scale, directed at other countires as well as the United States
Why am I not suprised at the agenda in those documents. It is amazing it was de-classified.

The things they propsosed doing on pages 7-11 of the last document in the PDF is really alarming. Some people may call me absolutely insane but I believe the US govt would even create false incidents on its own soil to scare people into having more rights taken away. They may already have. I can't prove it, but I don't think anybody can totally 100% disprove it.

I strongly think it could be fake.
However, it certainly could be real, too.
The point is really moot. We could've had Cuba as a Caribbean protectorate in the late 50s, but Nixon (then VP under Eisenhower) essentially spit in Castro's face when he came to Washington with his hand out for humanitrian aid and to establish relations in the wake of the revolution.

If we'd ponied up some food and clothes, we'd have cigars hecho en Habana at the corner drugstore...
Castro only went to the Soviets as a second chance.

Nixon was a dork, but what did we expect..? Castro was a revolutionary, Nixon was a Quaker.

Rhe document is legitimate and was obtained by George Washington University via an FOIA request in April of 2006.

This raises startling questions if they have been considering such actions for the past 44 years.

Particularly:

1.) What truly happened with the U.S.S. Liberty 06/28/1967?
2.) What truly happened with the U.S.S. Pueblo 01/23/1968?
3.) What truly happened with KAL 007 09/01/1983?
4.) What truly happened with Pan AM Flight 103 12/21/1988?
5.) What truly happened at the WTC 02/26/1993?
6.) What truly happened with TWA 800 07/17/1996?
7.) What truly happened with the U.S.S. Cole 10/12/2000?
8.) What truly happened at the WTC 09/11/2001? For that matter what truly happened to any of the 4 aircraft? What happened at the Pentagon? What happened at Shanksville? Why is it that not only were NO bodies ever positively identified but that none were ever actually found? How did at least 2 of the aircraft vaporized? What happened at WTC 7?

I am not a conspiracy theorist. I deal with scientific facts and the official stories do not always add up. I am more than willing to discuss these and point out obvious falsehoods.

Why is it that fighter jets that would normally have been scrambled to prevent an urban air disaster were called off?
A great majrity of the population only think it is real if it is packaged and presented by press that is far from objective is being fed BS by govt spokesmen.

1.) The U.S.S. Liberty, an American Intelligence vessel, was attacked intentionally by Israeli Naval and Air Forces as an attempt to Israeli Army actions happening at the time in Egypt. That she survived was a testament to the skills of her maintenance crew. By all accounts she should not have. The incident was covered up for more than two decades, but did America have foreknowledge of the event? That is the question.

02.) The U.S.S. Pueblo was attacked and captured by the North Korean Navy. For the full story go here: http://www.usspueblo.org/

But again the question is was America aware of this in advance? Read the Court of inquiry.

Very interesting read. But, sadly, I don't think its very shocking. Reason why: it was drafted during the height of the Cold War - a time of Mutual Assured Destruction, NATO vs. Warsaw Pact, and Kruschev pounding on tables. Its no secret that the U.S. wanted to toppel Castro. Nor is it a secret that we had active (and sucessful) clandestine regime change programs. Just about every major player on the world stage uses and had used some sort of propoganda to justify is foreign policy activities. Thus, to achieve the aim of toppling a communist state right on our front porch without escalating the situation to the point of nuclear armageddon, this plan simply does not shock me. Maybe I'm too jaded.

HOWEVER, what is terrifically shocking is how this plan relates to the current war. Its as if the administration did not want to spend the money to 're-invent the wheel' and simply adopted a Cold War plan to address a 21st century scenario. That confounds me.

They say you always fight the last war. Why are we still pre-Viet Nam then?
