A night at the theatre
Proving that not only GF has an interesting life!
Yesterday I went to the Old Vic in London to see A Moon For The Missbegotten, staring Kevin Spcey and Colm Meaney (probbably best known for his role as O'Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine). We started the evening in a resteraunt called Cubana, a cuban cuisine resteraunt, which Castro has shares in. Nice meal, would recomend it.
Anyhoo after dinner we rushed accross the road to the theatre. When we got there we found our seats had been moved, we were still in the same row, but had been shifted along a bit. I didn't care they were more central so a better view, but I was curious as to why this was. As we were sitting down and getting settled I happened to look along our row and who should I see but Americas randiest ever president! That right, Bill Clinton had kicked us out of our seats!
The show was excelent, and considering there was only 3 main cast members they carried the hole 3 hours superbly. Afterwards we went for a drink in the bar and Colm Meaney came out. So I got to talk to him and shake his hand (its weird shaking the hand of someone you watched daily on television whilst growing up).
Finaly as we were leaving I looked down the sideroad and Kevin Spacey was leaving the Stage Door to get in his car. I gave a little wave and he nodded back at me. Now I should specify that Spacey is in my opinion one of the greatest actors to have ever lived, so for me this was increddible. Man it was a friggin great night!
