No Fever

For the up an coming holidays. We actually fly on the 20th May and I can honestly say I am not excited in the least.

Maybe its the last holiday fiasco that is giving me negative vibes.

Never been away for such a period of time (10 days) so it will be an experience. I personally think its too commercial a place for my liking but hey...its a free trip.

Spending money, food and finding our own way to the airport (Gatwick) is still quite an expensive challenge yet we are determined to have our first full family holiday.

As for the sun it will be hot out there so I will be coming back rather pinkish as usual.

I aim to bring back some pics to show off of course.

I will do my best to get some good ones and hopefully scenic ones. It will be a new experience though I am more than sure the weather will be exotic.

I ain't there yet!

I will not be taking my good camera this time as it is a bit bulky so I will take my compact digital (Fuji F10). It has an awesome battery life (500 shots).

We have to leave at 2 am Tuesday morning so not much sleep for any of us. Guess we will be sleeping on the plane or collapse when we get there.

The pressure is on at the moment. We are all running round like headless chickens trying to finalise things. Except for me stealing away for 10 mins or so

to pop on site.

I will try to get online later today if possible if not i will try and find an internet cafe out there. It will be hard being away from this place coming for some daily salvation but I think I will cope.

Hi guys,
We landed on Tuesday afternoon and the weather is blistering hot. 31c through the day and drops to about 22 at night.

I broke my reading glasses on the first day and have only just managed to find an optician to get them repairied today. So now i can see what I´m looking at on the monitor.

My wife and stepson are in the hotel swimming pool right now and my stepdaughter well........she´s still in bed and its 2.40pm. (late night/morning revellers).

Lots of beautiful scenic shots although believe it or not I don´t like the sun hindering my shots I prefer the duller weather,

We´re hoping to hire a boat and see some dolphins etc before we leave next Friday!

Oh btw did I mention we´ve won another holiday in Tenerife (5 star accomodation). Our only catch is we´re to pay for the flights and it must be taken within one year. I think we can manage that.

Will keep you all posted as and when I can. Miss you guys already.

I'm back and I'm absolutely worn out with the journey back.

Got loads to catch up on at home and on ASep too.

We had a great time out there and will definitely holiday again sometime in the near future. I only have one problem....it went too quick.

Got pics to offload my camera on to computer and organise before I upload to site so give me a little time and I will do the deeds.

Yay, its great to be back in my own bed and have some home cooking and of course my friends here. Seems like only yesterday....

Ah well back to reality as they say!
