All crying aside, I hope this thing heals up quick, I got stuff to do this upcoming week. For now though, rest and ice sound good.

@Wisecat - I am finding out lots have done this procedure long before me and haven't had a regret come up yet. So, I guess I will take my bruised balls and stand proud!! Thanks for sharing.
@Noodles - I ain't saying shit as for whether or not anyone should do it. I will say that the procedure was pathetically simple for $1000! About 8 minutes is my guess and the Doc just carried on about another patient with the nurse the whole time.

I had mine done over 18 years ago. Nice to have 3 Adam's Apples.
Give it a week or so and you should be ok. Everyone has a different way of overcoming things and each has their own healing process....don't forget the salt baths to assist the stitches dissolving.

Yeah... the Doc said I'd be fine by Monday or Tuesday, but... I am a bit doubtful at this point. Basically I just feel like I got kicked in the crotch 24/7. I may take tomorrow off from work to speed up the recovery as I don't relish the idea of bouncing around in my truck quite yet.

I would absolutely take the day off. That truck will more than hinder any healing.
Yes, I am going to take the day. I feel pretty good at the moment, but I can only imagine what it will feel like after a couple of hours in that truck. And it will be hard to leave after I start the shift.
I will have to simply call in sick though, because if I say I had an operation, they will want a Doctor's release. Stupid rules!!!

obviously being one of the young bucks in the group I could not even comprehend the idea myself especailly a permenat solution, altohugh i guess there are soem back ups liek the reversable ones or putting some boys on ice. non the less there isn't a lil boss so until that i know of ( j/k..... i think) so I'll put that decision on the extrme outfield backwater post burner.
anyways. i thinks it's great that G as well as as the other that you had the guts to do something like that especially since it much safer than having the ladies do it for you
