And that was the big thing. Missy doesn't handle birth control well. Messes her system up something awful. And they female equivalent is way to much to ask, so this was the obvious solution.

Other than black and blue and a tad tender, I feel almost normal this morning.

Definitely worth it I say. I did it for the same reason, my first wife had 2 extremely difficult and long labours. I've still got the battle scars to prove it.

I've heard that it is a simple enough procedure. To be honest, from what I understand, the pain and the recovery time is nothing compared to the female alternative, so I have always thought that if a couple were adamant about not having any more children, that this was the better route. Less expensive in the long run than birth control pills, and without the chance of it not working!

Mind you I do have a friend who had it done before me and 2 years later his wife fell pregnant and he was questioning her fidelity.

Turns out he wasn't firing blanks and had to get the snip all over again.
