I about shite me knickers, my old, and I do mean OLD friend!!!!

Truth be told I had to read that like 3 or 4 times. You seriously just don't seem a day over 25 to me.

So, here's to my friend, mate, and sometimes biggest fan it seems.

May you live another 55 years so I can claim you as my friend until I come to my last days.

Thanks guys and I can assure you I feel I have reached that defining moment of ancient.

I can feel every ache and pain in the old joints.

The years have finally caught up and I definitely don't feel as fit as I used to be.

The picture of me in the gallery was taken in Lanzarote when I was 50. The age lines are finally showing in my face now but I'm very content and people still say I look younger...but not that much now...

I will have to upload an upgrade of the Olde English Gent.

Maybe get to use this camera I got.

Well my daughter was supposed to take me for lunch today but I've just rang her (as she was an hour late) and she was having a lie in (1pm)

Apparently she went to a party last night and didn't get back until 5am this morning,

All our plans are put back until tomorrow as my wife Linda wants to take me out also and go clothes shopping etc.

Probably go out and celebrate tonight at our local......in the meantime I must keep moving as the cobwebs are building up on me.

I have just come down from the clouds.

Had a wonderful meal with my daughter yesterday and then spent the afternoon with my wife shopping for niceties.

Got some new clothes and celebrated out the evening in our local with all my close friends and family.
I ended up on the gin and bitter lemon and have got the old mild hangover.

So its reality check this morning and now off to do Sunday dinner with my wife and do household chores...is this real?

Hey Spook Happy Bday. I remember when I thought 40 was old and I am 6 year past that.
You really do seem much younger than 55 every time we talk or PM you inspire me
like a big brother I never had.

Wow! Thanks Noodles, I reciprocate your every word. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?...I am always learning something.

You know what they say, there is a child in all of us and I personally am still growing up.

Big boys - more toys

When I sat in the restaurant with my daughter I realised how old i really was. My Daughter will be 21 in March.

Where the hell did all that time go??????

Still I have some wonderful memories and I hope to wallow in many more.

That is a coincidence. When my daughter is 21 I too will turn 55.
