This writers strike sucks... The other day, both Conan and Colbert replayed episodes far enough back that Michael Vick jokes were being made.... that's soooo last Month

I hear the last one in the late 80's went several months... how will we live without The Office, House and late-night TV for that long

Anyone else a bit bummed... or has this strike freed us from the strangle hold of scheduled programming

At least there's still Hockey

It sucks, it totally sucks. I'm hoping it ends really soon...it's affecting some shows I work on as well....might ruin one of them. If it goes on for too long.....somw shows may be cancelled.

Mmm... I can imagine Lisey. My best friend's dad own and agency in Vancouver. Combined with the high Canadian dollar, it's not looking good. Someone told me they have already announced that Fox isnt going to air '24' this in January this year? Crazy how fast it made a mess.

John Stuart is apparently paying his writers out of his pocket while they're on strike... not to work, but because he supports them (the Guild said if anyone hires scabs, they'll never get Guild members again)

South Park wont stop airing though Matt and Trey are fuck-the-Guild kinda guys... no surprise.

I totally forgot about 24....ugh....it depends on how far they've gotten with the scripts..if the script has been written and needs ANY changes they are screwed. 24 must be a real hassle since it's all just one big episode....They can shoot what's already finalized but absolutely nothing can be changed.

As for Matt and Trey..as much as I love them......they're making $$ off of everything they do...they can afford to say "fuck the guild".

the only thing I've noticed is that the Late Night TV shows (Leno, Letterman, Obrien, etc) are all repeats...quite irritating actually. Anybody have any inside information on whether or not Lost will stay around?

It shouldn't be going off the air, but the strike might delay the season premiere if they don't come to an agreement soon.
