Yep, it's that time of year..... Again, least all my relatives live far away

Anyhows, thought it'd be interesting to see what people are getting friends and family for Crimbo. never know you might find ideas from the others.

I got it all to do yet, just bought a PSP for my stepson and still figuring out what to get for the rest of the kids. As for myself well I've not really thought about it as I tend to just spoil the kids and the wife. I never ask for anything so if i get something its a surpirse ...or shock.

The time off with the family is more important to me.

I'll more than likely take the mrs on a shopping spree very soon.

bought my mom's husband a sirius satellite radio, my mom gets an ipod with ihome thing so she can use the ipod as an alarm clock, niece and nephew get pajamas and a lamp (he loves superheros so it's a superman lamp, and she's 6 so she gets a cinderella lamp) I never met the niece or nephew so the gifts stay limited until I can get to meet them one day.

For my daughter games, books, clothing a RoboRaptor and a couple of stocking
stuffers.
For my wife some horse related items.
Parents, get a weekend getaway a posh resort.
Mom in law is getting one of those electronic picture frames that displays digital pictures
and can hold store a lot of photos that rotate display time.
Nephews, Nintendo DS stuff.
Me I don't want anything, but my winter boots are trashed so my wife is going to
put new ones under the tree.
My brother and sis in law are getting a gift cad to a home improvement center.
All other in laws on my wife's side of the family don't do anything outside their immediate family so we just send then cards.

that roboraptor will drive you nuts, it's so obnoxiously loud

I saw it in Sam's Club and pushed the button, it scared the hell out of me how loud it was

Just bought a PSP and 1Gb of memory and a storage/carry case for my stepson just this minute over the internet.

Hmm, He's gonna need games too ..better rob a bank.

Those are cool. They can also surf the web from any wi-fi.

We were stuck between the PSP and the Nintendo DS for our daughter. They advantage
the PSP is that big screen. Otherwise they have the same funtionality. Movies, music
games and web surfing.
The reason we went with the Nintendo was the amazing variety of games for an
eight year old. There just were not that many for the PSP.

Also two of the big studios have quit producing movies for the PSP. If you want to
get a movie from a DVD to PSP format I can show you where the software is to do
that. I would have loved for her to the PSP, but it was her decision and when she
saw all the game choices it was an easy choice for her.

The stuff those things can pull off is apparently endless.
Noodles and me have this friend who has access to hundreds of tricks and games, and it's all freeware AFAIK.
(Some modifications required... possibly, depending on what ewe're into. ) Butt those things are incredibly versatile and powerful.

Getting my Mum Series 5 of 24 (apparently she loves it)

And, the hardest person ever to buy for, my Dad, got to order him Drop The Dead Donkey Series 1-3 box set and two Philip Pullman books - Lyra's Oxford and Tiger In The Well
