Those accords are sweet. Almost 270hp and they are like a magic carpet. If you go that
route let me know. I used to work for David Hobbs Honda and his son and I are still
in contact with each other. The top of the line is a tick over $30k

Yeah, I like them, both the four and two door. The two door looks extremely sporty though. I'd probably pass on the Navigation system, so we are looking at around $28K. I might just have to ask you before I purchase though. I'd have to likely sell my Mitsu though instead of trading it in...

You will make 2-3000 selling the Mitsu. Dealers just crush people on trades especially SUVs right now.

We need to find a dealer with a lot of V-6s in stock. Also if you can live without the L
package another $2300 is saved.

I only wish I could advise but all our cars are in a lower class over here.

Gots to be the EX version. In fact, I am still leaning toward Acura simply because I want the toys, minus the nav system. I am only thinking trade here to save on the sales tax (almost 9%). Plus the hassle of being in between cars.

I kind of doubt they all are lower class!!!

Maybe its because most of the vehicles you've all mentioned I aint heard of.
I know they change names for different European locations. Vauxhall becomes Opel in Germany etc.

I work in a massive car sales franchise but I don't know much about them. You may as well teach me to be a brain surgeon.

Here is a primer. I can tell you that having driven one of each engine spec that it is
like a BMW M series. The newest M series excluded ($60,000)

The IS topped out in 2006 at $45k and it is considered by all critics to be the pinnacle
of sedans in that class. The electronics, ride quality, legendary Toyota durability and
Lexus customer service that has remained #1 for over ten years. It is a great car.
They are hard to find used. People that buy them new love them so much they
keep them.

The IS 250 is actually much more practical. It is better on gas. Has over 200 ponies
and all wheel drive with a 6 speed automatic. It is an impressive performer. Hard
to believe it is a 4 cylinder under the bonnet.

I would just read the online reviews and drive one. All of the IS models since they came
out are good cars.
We need to find one that fits you.

Holy Crap!!! Spendy little buggers!!! I like it though. I might have to save my pennies a bit longer, but ....

damn... I like that car. The 250 with AWD sounds great though, considering the occasional snow here.

thanks Noodles. Definitely got me thinking about this.

IMO the IS line was a quantum leap to catch the Germans in the way a car feels.
It even scared the Germans back into building better cars after losing the JD Power
to Lexus for the last decade. the new Audi S class, BMW M series and Benz AMG cars
are amazing, but way too pricey and more temperamental than the Lexus IS class.

Not sure if I can spare that much money at this point, but man... I am liking what I see and might just have to save my pennies a bit longer.

I've heard poor things about Audi as of late, otherwise I would consider them in the running too.
