What are your plans for the holiday?

After wrapping up a wonderfully short week at school, the family will be heading down I-75 (approx. 2 hr drive) on Wednesday to go spend some time w/Mrs. Tokogawa's family in the great state of Kentucky. We'll be there until Thursday evening and then we will come home to spend time w/ my side (the sane group) of the family. Mrs. Tokogawa and some lady friends will head out very early on Friday morning to catch the "Black Friday" deals at the mall. Me, I'm going hunting Friday morning. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for. Thank you veterans!!

Forgot one thing, I'll be away until Monday, so I'll have some catching up to do when I get back. Have a great holiday!!

Driving from Long Island to Staten Island...normally an hour, hour fifteen...will be about 3 hours. I'll be with my dad which means I'll be smoking (I quit a few years ago but when with my father I can't help but swipe one or two).

The insane drive will be worth it once I walk in the door to my mom's family...these are the warmest, most loving people in the world. I'll be eating the best Italian and American food and spending time with my favorite person, my little cousin who I am super close to and, like we did as children, we will torture our other cousin who is 28 and still can't take a joke.

There will be no black friday shopping for me...not my thing. I will be sleeping in!

Hope everyone enjoys their holiday as much as I do.

Hmm! Holiday? We Brits don't have one this time of year...nothing to celebrate.

We have three feasts. One here, one at my in-lawas and one my parents.

It is going to be pure gluttony at is finest.

meh... I despise holiday's like this...

Everyone wants me/us here/there...

But the bitching aside, this years winners are:

Mom and Dad's for just a couple hours of hanging out and football on the telly.
Then off to her Mom's for Dinner.

Friday and Saturday I work, so she is taking her daughter to Idaho to visit her father and the rest of her family there.

And Sunday Night I'll get to see the rest of new family again before starting the new work week.
