Finally got around to looking at these.

ALL are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than anything I could hope to do.

Most are pretty good, compared to me or not.

However, I agree that the water color is stellar. GREAT work.

in conjunction with Dc this latest pice based on one of her poems

"Caught in a Thunderstorm"

The cold rain falls
From the heavens,
Stinging my bare skin
With bits of ice.

Wind blows violently,
Throwing strands of auburn
Hair in all directions.

Clouds loom dark
On the horizon,
Blotting the warmth of
The sun from the sky.

Eyes closed,
Ivory arms outstretched,
Palms to the sky...
An eager grin on
Dark red lips.

Thunder peels, making a
Full tree of birds flee
Their perch.

The grin widens to
A smile, and I
Take a deep breath,
Inhaling the storm.

The tingling of
Electricity flows
Through me

Waiting, anticipating...

A flash of light,
Pure energy speeding
To the ground.

A rush,
I am thrown backwards.
A scorched, black blast
On the ground.

Slow, dark smoke rises,
Fire put out by the rain.

A deep breath
And a shudder.
"It is done," whispered
Into the sky.

Unimaginable energy,
Unimaginable power...
All coursing through my veins.
