Casino Royale Leaflet Promotion

Hello all

Said I'd post these when I could and seeing as today was the closing day for the competition I thought I'd show you some more of my handy work

Front of the leaflet

Took ages to get final approval from Sony Pictures for use of the picture, mainly because of the first drafts the image was more centered on Bonds top half due to alot of text down at his leg level and I'd put test across his body. After finding a solution which incurred me fading the bottom third of the leaflet to black I then had to re-word the main text and decrease the font size to fit it all in. Finially I had to fit their disclaimer at the bottom. Phew

On the back they didn't have to many problems, just typos that I made. I did have to revert to a different image as the first one I wanted to use had Bond stood next to the Aston Martin, Sony said they couldn't see the point of having his picture on there twice (and I agree, was stupid). All they asked was that the logo for Casino Royale used was the silvery one as on the front I had used a firey red version which looked cool on a black background.

Oh well got to do the prize draw in a few days time, should be fun as I got lots of people to enter after saying how much fun it was being taken out for a drive in the car

Got lots of the leaflets left over, sometimes you can't even give stuff away for free so next time we do a promotion like this we'll be cutting the leaflet print to 5k (this one was 10k and probably only got rid of 2k

)

Tried to give as many out as possible when I was around but can't be there all the time

He really did do a stellar job. I would be proud to print in any of the magazines
my company manages and I am a picky SOB.

Guys it does mean alot to hear that you think I did a grand job, the people at Sony only said it was ok (I don't think they were too keen on the images being used in the first place)

I have to deal with approval depts at many huge companies. They are all SOBs so
don't worry about it. They should be grateful you are doing things to promote their
film so they make more money.

I'd be more than happy to proudly display one of those leaflets in my house, it was a great movie, and I'm looking forward to seeing it a 2nd time!
