DC Drawings
Alrighty... putting all of the artwork I have scanned up here... which means you will be tortured with not only my crappy work for my art classes, but my doodles as well!  
Here's how it's gonna work. One picture per post, along with some of my comments about the piece... what medium I used, why I drew it, what I liked about it, etcetera, etcetera.
Hope I don't bore you too much... 
Oh yeah... going to only post one of these a day... because I don't want to spend as much time at once as I did for my dragon thread...
So here's the first one!
A Mother's Protection
This one has a ton of detail that you may or may not be able to see from where I sized it down...  I drew this out of boredom while waiting for my Mother to get out of surgery.
Done in plain old mechanical pencil on the sketchpad my Love gave me...  I thought it turned out really well... The angle of the mother's head, the folded wings (one of my first attempts at this... usually draw them outstretched).
I had originally planned for there to be baby dragonets instead of eggs, but... well... let's just say I don't have nearly enough practice (as in zero) drawing dragonets, so I may redo this picture in the future to include them once I get a bit better!

The Mask
This one... I have no idea why I drew it, to be honest with you. Turned out pretty well, though. Was the first non-doodle that I made in the sketchbook my Love gave me. Done in mechanical pencil as well.
The mask itself and the little stand it's on on the podium turned out pretty well... I realized later that I screwed up in the placement of the baseline of the wall behind the piece, as well as the spotlight when it gets down to the baseline. But...  don't really care enough to go back and redo the entire picture! Lesson learned nonetheless.

trust me there , both fairly good. the 2nd one has excellent portrails of value and texture. I need to get a scanner or something cause i got like 2 works that Dc might like. and a couple the guys would probably like

Just an anime girl that I doodled once, then made this... loved the way she turned out, but never could make another picture of her. I believe I originally intended her for some story I was going to write, but I honestly can't remember anything more about it now. This was done way back in 1999, I believe... well... within the 1998-2000 time period, anyways... Color pencils on regular lined paper.
