3 drops chamomile
3 drops lavender
2 drops marjoram
1 drop thyme
1 drop peppermint
Fill bath tub with very warm water (NOT HOT). Add essential oils after the
tub is full. Disperse oils through the water immediately before getting in.
(Doing so prevents the oils from puddling into 1 area.) Soak, inhale deeply and
relax for 20-30 minutes.
This bubble bath has lavender and patchouli oils
to relax you before bedtime. Use soft music and lighted candles in your
bathroom for a soothing effect.

This was created for a famous day spa..(rather uplifting)
(good for any skin especially oily)
2 T. Epsom salt
1 T. lemongrass
1 T. ginger cut
1 T. lemon verbena
1 T. comfrey leaf
1 T. orange peel
1 T. chamomile
1 T jasmine flowers
1 T. green tea
This should be enough for 2-3 bathes(possible enhancement or
fragrances to add ..lemon grass essential oil, sweet orange china
rain fragrance oil, seashore type)
Calming (relaxing)
2 parts lavender
2 parts Epsom salt
2 parts rose petals
1 part chamomile
No More Sore Muscles
2 parts Thyme
( this herb is a great muscle relaxant. This is why you see it in so
many recipes)
2 parts rosemary
2 parts lavender
1 part cramp bark
( the name gives it away, excellent herb often overlooked)
1 part Epsom salt
Troubled skin
2 parts rooibos tea
2 parts oatmeal
1 part sassafras
1 part chamomile
1 part comfrey leaf
1/4 cup powdered milk
2 tbs. powdered sugar
2 tbs. borax powder(20 Mule Team)
1/4 cup rose water or orange water
2 tsp. vitamin E
10 drops essential oil of your choice
Combine the dried milk, sugar, and borax in a bowl, stirring until well
mixed. Add the water, vitamin E, and fragrance. Stir until you have a
thick dough. Depending on the humidity in the air, you may need to cut
the water amount back. Try adding a little at a time until you get the
thick dough. Roll dough into a ball, one teaspoon at a time with your
hands. Repeat until all of the dough has been used. Place the balls on a
sheet of tin foil or waxed paper and let dry for twenty four hours.
2 tablespoons dried thyme
2 tablespoons dried calendula blossoms
2 tablespoon dried chamomile blooms
1 quart boiling water
Add the herbs to the boiling water and steep for 10-15
minutes. Strain the infusion and add to your bathwater.
NOTES: You can use just chamomile and double the amount.
10 fluid ounces of _cider vinegar_
10 fluid ounces of water [preferably _spring water or fresh rainwater]
1 handful of chopped fresh laveder flowers
1 handful of chopped fresh chamomile
Pour the vinegar and water into an enamel saucepan and place over a
medium flame on the stovetop. As soon as the mixture begins to boil,
remove the saucepan from the heat. Fill a mediumsized cauldron [or
bowl] with the herbs and then pour the hot liquid over them. Cover
with a lid or plastic wrap, and then strain the liquid into a clean
_glass bottle_ after three hours have passed.
Light scented red candles and add a cupful of the herbal vinegar to
tepid bathwater to give your body, mind, and spirit an invigorating
lift.
Note: One handful of chopped fresh thyme, fresh lime flowers or
three teaspoons of dried thyme, lavender and/or chamomile can be
used in combination with, or in place of, the herbs listed above.
5 oz. glycerin melt and pour soap base
Chamomile fragrance oil
1 teaspoon ground chamomile
1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers -- crushed
1 teaspoon dried calendula (pot marigold) flower petals
Round dome soap mold -- about 3" wide x 1" deep
This recipe makes 2 bars:
Melt the soap base, then add the chamomile, lavender, calendula and the
desired amount of fragrance oil. Mix thoroughly and pour the soap into the
mold.
