I may be a fish

I grabbed this one from another site.(unknown author)

One day Chuang Tzu and a friend were walking by a river. "Look at the fish swimming about," said Chuang Tzu, "They are really enjoying themselves."
"You are not a fish," replied the friend, "So you can't truly know that they are enjoying themselves."
"You are not me," said Chuang Tzu. "So how do you know that I do not know that the fish are enjoying themselves?"

Another Beauty. Actually from the Book titled Chuang Tse, I believe. Chuang Tse is possibly my all time favorite philosopher. I have very purposely NOT read his books yet. Saving the best for last.

So far from what I have been researching in ancient asian cultures leads me back to Chuang. Calling his stuff timeless is an understatement. I wish I had a time machine and a good translator. It would be a fantasy to be able to pick his brain face to face.
