It seems that more and more the ads we see on TV have great, catchy toons.

Ive found that many times, these songs are available for download, and are done by some great indipendant bands!

Here, post ads that you've seen and we'll try and find them and who they're by.

I'll start with an awesome Dell ad.
The song is The W.A.N.D by The Flaming Lips

This one is a Verizon Wireless ad

The song is called We are your friends by Justice vs Simian (two separate bands come together for this song... both are pretty good individually if you like House kinda music)

This is a catchy little tune called 1234 by Feist. Also part of the ad for the very cool looking new iPod nano

This one is a greaaaat ad as well as a funny little toon

The song is Radiate by Average Superstar
(the band broke up I think)

Good stuff GF.

The Flaming Lips started in 83. They were huge here in the early 90s. Went platinum on a song called "She Don't Use Jelly". They are with Warner now. Still critically liked, but there sales have records are slow. They have a huge cult following.

Very good GF, I particularly like the last one and the Fesit 1234 is catchy too...she sounds a bit like Shania Twain.

Cool about the Flaming Lips Noods... not a fan of much music that came outa the 80's, but Im gunna look more into them

There stuff post 1990 is the good stuff. They have a lot of awards and are highly regarded.

YouTube - Either Way by Wilco

This one is Either Way by Wilco, a Chicago rock band... it's seen in a great VW car ad. A car thief steals a little VW Bug convertible and takes it for a spin. Everyone waves and is friendly and he decides it's too happy of a car and returns it before the own notices
