although the 04 four one was good. it had its flaws. mainly the charcters were dumb. like i could think of a dozen better ways to get the gun owner food. and regaular zombies don't run.
and without romero none of the curremt zombie cult would exaggest. only the vudo types
target has dawn of the dead (new version) and land of the dead set for like $20

I am a fan of the original more than the 04 remake.

I am kinda looking forward to the Day of the dead remake, but im worried at the same time. Thinking about this at the moment I don't even know if we can call eather of them remakes. Then only thing the seem to have in commin is the mall and the tittle.

For sure...
They better slow down on the remakes though! Gunna catch up with the original series that's still being created if they keep going at this rate. Diary of the Dead is going to be the next one in the original series, coming out soonish too.

also coming out is the is the CG movie resident evil degeneration.
must see for me
i think this corolates more with the games than the movies. casue this takes place a year after RE4 but 3 years before RE5

Diary is Romero starting from the beginning again. It takes placed during a starting out brake. Not sure if its the same one or not.

the 2008 day of the dead's script is adapted form romeros version, but won't be the same. it also won't have any connection to snyders 2004 dawn remake
diary is a "rejigging of the myth" according to romero and will sota be docmentry like film of the outbreak

I liked 04 but some parts were a bit crap. The original was awesome in its day but looks a tad dated now (Still a milion times better than LAND of the dead though!)
