I put a load of random trailers on my PS3 and found theyve made a film version of HITMAN. Im REALLY hoping its gonna be true to the games (unlike nearly every other game tie in EVER!)

I keep seeing the trailers in theaters and on the net. I think I'll be seeing it in theaters, looks pretty intense.

Saw it last night... Meh. I felt like it coulda been called anything, and my buddies and I kinda felt there was a good sized hole in the plot.

Exciting for sure, some great fight scenes and the girl was cute.... it was pretty dark and mysterious as the trailers showed. Probably a renter.

I dont think there'll EVER be a truly good film made of a game and stay true to its roots

I agree... until they give the millions of dollars and the contracts and crews and actors and permits and aaall that shit to true fans of a game to make movies, it can't happen.

A Halo movie is coming... I've heard Peter Jackson at the helm? He better know, and actually like Halo or he's going to piss off one of the world's biggest fan bases of all times should he butcher it.

yeah there's been rumur of a halo movie for a while supposely with peter jackson directing but this rumors been floating around almost for two years this would be the 2nd game that i heard of becoming a film (MGS the 1st) but i some how don't see it happening anytime soon, there are "trailers" but i'm not sure if they're offical or what. I guess it would require a big named actor as long as steve downes does the cheifs voice

I read some online stuff last night... Apparently Jackson is going to produce, not direct. Neill Blomkamp is supposedly set to be the director but it's all very complicated. Jackson says it's alive, Blomkamp apparently proclaimed the project dead. It's all confusing, but I guess we'll just hafta wait and see

The money potential is too huge. Jackson will proceed without Blomkamp if needed.

Ok the jest of it is Jackson wants the movie. No one else dose. so he is in the process of doing it himself, like getting all he can on his own done. pre production that is. Once that is done he will take it from company to company till he has a buyer.
