Film: Borat
Date Due: Nov 3rd
Wha's it all about then sonny jim?: The biggest reason to watch Ali G was Sacha Baron Cohen's Kazakhstani alter ego. It was brilliantly received at cannes (dispite not being an official film) and should be bloody hysterical. Larry David asked for a screening of it to be stopped because he was laughing so hard it hurt. Now there's a recomendation for you.

Film: Clerks 2

Wha's it all about then sonny jim?: The sequal to kevin smiths most popular and earliest film. We are reunited with Dante and Randal who have moved on from the quick stop to a Mooby burger shop. But they're still being pestered by Jay and Silent Bob of course. I love kevin smith (I've got a signed dogma poster!) and so am salivating at the thought of this return to clerks.

Film: Hot Fuz
Date Due: Feb 16th
Wha's it all about then sonny jim?: The mighty machine that is Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright team up once again in this parody of british cop films. The concvept being that american cop dramas are always really big and bold whilst british are pretty tame. So the action starts as a british cop film and spirals into the style of the american films. If its half as good as Shaun of the Dead it'll be worth watching.

Wha's it all about then sonny jim?: Period tale about a group of plague refugees telling tales to pass their time during countryside seclusion. The biggest reason I want to see this is it has a mates brother in it.

Date Due: March 30th
Wha's it all about then sonny jim?: Frank "Sin City" Miller's story of a battle in which 300 spartan wariors battle to hold back thousands of invading persian warriors. Done in a similar style to Sin City this could be the first sandals and skirts film since Gladiator to be any good.

Film: Ghost Rider

Wha's it all about then sonny jim?: Ok so its Nick Cage. He's not exactly the best actor in the world. But Ghost Rider was a kick arse comic and if he fucks it up I'm gonna go round his house and blow a very big raspberry in his face. Plot. Guy has accident now he can enter the world of the dead as ghost rider (don't know the specifics of the plot)

Wha's it all about then sonny jim?: A reporter a cop and a newspaper cartoonist conduct an investigation into the Zodiac killer, a psycho plaguing 1970's San Francisco. Directed by the guy who did se7en it should be a good crime film.
