WATCH this film.

If you are remotely into kung fu action films with police drama... this film was AWESOME!!

Picked it up on a whim, but wow!

Sammo Hung (the fat guy from Martial Law with Arsenio Hall) is the bad guy in this film. Which is hard to believe for about 5 seconds until you see just what a bad guy he is!!!

The fight seens are so really it had me wincing and I watch MMA (mixed martial arts combat sports) in real life. Hell, I've DONE MMA!!!

And the ending is just... well, lets say if you guess the ending you are undoubtedly psychic!!!

Off to eBay to pick up a copy for my collection.

(BTW - the film is in Cantonese with subtitles, or without if you happen to speak Cantonese.

I am watching the big fight scene being done with Donnie Yen talking (in english thank God!)

Talking about how Donnie had to take it a bit easy on Sammo, but also how he (Donnie) was so afraid of hurting him, since he idolizes Sammo!!

Just great stuff !!!

Now they are talking about how this is one of the first films EVER to properly portray gappling in a combat situation. I had noticed that the JuJitsu was amazing and very fluidly combined with the Kung Fu.

Damn I am loving this film!!!

I can't find it locally . Blockbuster will get it for me if I join their new internet
service. I am not a member of netflix. When there are more cows in your county
that people, it is hard to find stuff like this. I may have to break down and join
on of the online services.

You know what you could do is buy a copy from eBay or whatever and when yer done watching it send it my way and I'll buy if from you.

I'd just buy a copy first, but then we be mailing it back and forth!!

Of course, once you saw the two-disc set you might just keep it!!!

I thought it was fantastic. and pleased I ordered it. Definitely made me a fan of Donnie Yen. Sammo was amazing too considering all those falls, kicks and punches he endured. I've yet to look at disc 2 to watch the making of it but will get round to soon. I played it in English as the subtitles were distracting me. Dubbing weren't too bad.

I'm now busy browsing for more movies.
