Spiderman 3 - Two thumbs and my big toe down

Reprehensible

I saw it last night, and am tempted to go ask for my money back today. Just a pathetic third movie. The previews were by far the best part of the flick

There was no major climax, 6 points where the movies should/could have ended, and a stream of pointless scenes eventually leading through a dead end and paper thin plot...

Hell, people were laughing during 95% of the serious scenes, and hardest during the weak attempts to make the audience tear-up.

Spiderman didn’t act overly aggressive when he got the black shit on him... he just acted lame, strutting around town and greasing his hair down like one of those emo faggots that listen to Hawthorn Heights, My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World and other bands that, to anyone with the slightest musical taste, are as disappointing as the Spiderman 3 itself.

I doubt anyone will listen to me 'cus it's "Spiderman 3"... but if you trust me, wait until this one can be rented for 3.95$ at the local convenience store if you’ve gotta be ‘in’ on the Godfather-esque failure of a trilogy.

A friend of mine felt the same as you... he was just disgusted with the movie. I felt there were enjoyable points, but it was by no means my favorite movie. The biggest thing that I had a problem with is that they seemed to try to squash at least two, possibly three movies all into one. To me, a lot of the things you mentioned were due to this... they tried to put plot in from too many movie ideas, and had to try to string them together in a way that just didn't work.

Each to their own as I say, I don't take offense, and I'm not a Emo person

I do understand where you are coming from, watched it Friday after work (wasn't going to but someone had to do the staff screening), I was not overly impressed with it, it dragged and didn't have the excitement factor that made the first two great. In all they could've cut out Sandman completely and have Peter getting enraged by how Harry was trying to ruin his life, if they spread out that story line a bit more it would've in my opinion been better, hell him trying to keep MJ from knowing Harry's a evil bastard whilst he did what he did could be more interesting then what little they did.

The part when he's in the jazz club, that was just cringe worthy, I could feel myself getting embarrassed watching it.

Yep... that part was embarassing for sure... every time Peter tried to cry made me cringe too

(didnt mean much with the music thing... it's just the attitude that goes along with that music creating this group of 'emo' kids that kills me; it's bad on many levels.)

Hey don't worry bout it, I don't take offense to that anyways and the way some who listen to that music are like I fully understand where your coming from
