OK--Lisey when is our man coming back on? I've been watching FOX and have seen trailers for all the other crap they are starting this month (ie American Idol) but as of yet NOTHING on 24. His little trip to the jail house over the summer didn't throw off production did it?

I think I am going to go into withdrawals very soon! Oh well, I bought Wise the first season on DVD for Christmas, guess I could always go back and watch it again. Maybe the strike will end soon. Otherwise TV is going to get really boring.

The strike is going to affect a lot of big hits. 24, Heros, Nip Tuck and the Shield to
name a few. The Golden Globes are cancelled, they are just going to have a press release to announce
the category winners and now the Oscars might be biting the bullet this year.

I'm pissed. The Independent Spirit Awards are next month and my flight is already booked....they better not cancel. I'm working on the amc version of the show and it's my highlight of the year.

I haven't seen anything specifically on 24, I heard that they are halfway done shooting the season but didn't finish the scripts.

This sucks. I hate american idol.

I liked American Idol at first, but feel its kinda gone flat. The best part is watching the auditions and see all those poor people who THINK they can sing. Doubt I will even watch it this year.
I have found a new show that I didn't think I would like, but after giving it a shot think I will keep it. Bionic Woman on NBC is Cool ! However, haven't seen any new episodes so they must be waiting on the writers to come back too.
Lisey, your in the industry. How close are they to coming to an agreement? Is there any hope for good TV in the near future or are we going to be stuck in "REALITY HELL" for some time yet?

They are going to air some new episodes of some shows. Others are on hold.

Most of the new stuff is listed at the networks' websites but it is sad, there is not
much out there. The WGA is still not budging and the Hollywood execs are not
making much of attempt. Clooney, Spielberg and Hanks have offered to set up
a mediation group but there has been little response to that. Two months in and
it is not looking good.

From my end....we're just as in the dark as the public. From the very beginning we heard it can last to the spring and beyond....none of us are surprised it's gone this long.
