haha!! A GTO Judge!! Nice.

2nd Cavalry, eh? There is a unit with some history. He was an Engineer, too, I see... wow.

Veteran's Day is such a farce anymore. I usually don't even know it has come and gone except for my daughter and a card I get every year from one of my doctor's and his family.

That is it. I have not been thanked once by anybody for being in the service or for being in a war.

I did get to work on the bank holiday though and when I got off work couldn't conduct my business as the banks were closed.

Very good to see some respect given Wisecat. Very good. I don't need and neither to any other Vet's, but I don't see how a society who doesn't give it can be expected to survive.

Cheers Wise and tell your dad "Thank You" for me. I mean that.

Is that in Lancaster County? I used to work at a motorcycle dealership with a guy from somewhere called Van Wick if I recall correctly.

Holy Sh*%, His name is Dean Sheppard that was back in 91. He was born in Dunwoody Georgia and his father worked for one of the hotel chains. He was always talking about the town.

Forgot to mention I almost took a road trip down there with him, but practice season had started for the semi-pro football team I almost played for.

The wife and I are looking for land in the vicinity of the Smokey Mountains for retirement. We just love the Carolinas. We will be in Hilton Head in May. Never been there before.

I did not know Van Wyck is spelled with a "Y" I just assumed it was a an "I".

He did have previous experience in a dealership. I hired him as wholesale parts manager. I can't remember what is previous job was.

Did he disappear around 1990-91? If so It might be the same guy. What a trip.
