Confucius

"By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest."

It is the process that seems to make the lesson 'stick'.

I think when we make mistakes, it often is the actually mistake that learns us, but rather the process that is usually involved in correcting or dealing with the mistake.

Same difference, just found myself breaking the concept down in my head a bit....

Hold them thoughts & store for future reference. Courage & conviction are two words that come to mind.

This is kind of hilarious to me, but when Rabbit live here, she wanted me to journal all my sayings and thoughts. She is a pretty good writer and was going to write a book for me!!

You make it sound as if the opportunity was turned down... It would have taken years to compile enough for a book and I guess we simply didn't have years to spare.

No harm in trying, would be a shame to miss a golden opportunity, not for the fame just the glory.

I know yer kidding, but oddly enough that is exactly why the project never even got started. I told her she could write them down and write the book, but I would not actually participate. Wouldn't want the idea of fame or glory affecting my thinking.
