It was a baseball player. Not much of a star. Really sad...funny how the teacher/pilot barely gets a mention.
It was actually really scary for the people who who there...until the info was out it was thought of as another potential terrorist attack. I work near there and we were all GLUED to the news to find out what the hell happened.
A friend's cousin lives in the building, lucky for her the place is untouched!
Scary stuff. I caught the news at lunch (this was before they knew what exactly had happened) and my first thought was "OMG NOT AGAIN."
They apparently had fighter jets out over my city and that was a little discomforting.
We had several fighters covering the Chicago and Milwaukee area. It was the first time I have ever seen such formations in 35 years of being in this area.
I think I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so............
I was at work with no access to what was happening in the outside world and did not hear about it until I got home and watched the evening news---by then they knew what had happened, but I can only imagine what panic set in during real time.
