Sig Sauer P229 9mm We have a Scheels here in town and it was just renovated. I'm really impressed with that store, although most things are incredibly overpriced. That makes 1 X Sig 9MM and 1 X HK .40

Just bought cheese and sausage to make a tray for my daughter's class party tommorow.

I have the 229 in the .40 cal. It is my favorite of all of them.

I think Newsome has a SIG also. The only HK I have is the HK 91 NATO rifle in .308.
That thing is just amazing.

haven't found any HK rifles yet, the first pistol I ever shot was a Sig .45 and immediately fell in love. I pick it up tomorrow (I guess no Brady bill here, I could have had it tonight but I didn't have a copy of my orders assigning me to Malmstrom AFB, and I don't have a Montana Driver's License) but unfortunately there's too much snow for me to be able to go shooting for a while...

The ban that part of the Brady bill had to do with firearms expired and was never
voted back in during 2006. We can get 100 round magazines for AR-15s.

I am about to snag an M-4 and it is cheaper than the AR-15 I bought 6 years ago
due to the ban expiring. The AR-15 will be sold.

As far as delays to pick up a handgun that varies from state to state. Montana has
a very nice one. In most states what they call the "cooling off" time is 3 days
unless you have an FFL.

Just one question, why the 9mm instead of the .40? The .40 has so much more punch.
I am guessing it is because you already have .40 HK.

A big bunch of tulips for my wife...well it is Valentine's day. Also got her a box set of DVD's (Elvis Presley and also Doris Day).

Now I just have to top it all off by taking her for a meal very soon.

ammunition for my new Sig Sauer P226, I really do enjoy this gun (sorry I misidentified it earlier, my friend had the 229 and I may end up buying one of those next, the weight is definitely a good feature)
