Out of mustard at the beginning of BBQ season? That may be a local ordinance violation here.

Biscuits and gravy? Mostly a southern/southcentral US thing.
I am wondering if Rik thought is was wierd because in the UK and Australia biscuits
are what we in the US call cookies.

Cookies and gravy would be a nasty combo.

I remember my mum had a craving for biscuit sandwiches or cookie sandwiches to you americans. No she wasn't pregnant either just a a crazy thing she liked.

When I was about 10 til I went to senior school I used to love bread & milk. I'd pour the milk in a bowl & just break the bread up & drop it in the milk & squish it in the bowl.

Oh there was no meat I can assure you, just bread & butter with a a few biscuits on top & another slice of bread on top of the biscuits.
