Ellf & Pixie are the Lucky Sisters. Ellf (Extremely Lucky Little Feline) was part of a litter of two. One kitten was still born and Ellf was plagued with medical complications. She literally died three times in the first two weeks of life. With 24 hour care and a dedicated staff of keepers and a determined veterinarian she was saved. Once stable, we rescued her a playmate, Pixie, who is a Domestic Cat. They are best friends with unique personalities. Pixie thinks she is a Serval and Ellf thinks she is a Domestic Cat. They live, sleep and play together and are happy being the most unusual and “Lucky Sistersâ€.? around.

I adopted them today. Not real expensive and not sure its money I can waste, but I'd just waste it on myself otherwise. They are adopted in my daughters name, so the next time we visit Cat Tales she will see her name up on the cage with the few other people who have adopted Ellf and Pixie.
Cat Tales is so awesome, but still breaks my heart when I see these cats pacing. That little guy can run 45MpH!! So, even though she is fine, you know she'd be happier with some running room.
