What fun!!
My daughter and I both worked it this year. I wish I had more photos, but like a total moron I forgot an SD card for the A540 and didn't have time to run to the car for the S3 later.
Took this with my phone:
This is Katie, whom I would
not allow to get dry during her stint on the dunk tank!
I guess we are still friends.

I got to play Security Man!!
Haven't done that since my Army Days. Pretty fun. Wore me out by the end of the day though.
Scooter peddled hot dogs and chips most of the day. I really don't know how many people go through the zoo on this day, but it must be the equivalent of several winter months all in one day. A normal crowd is like 25 or so at Cat Tales and we must have shuttled 50 car loads an hour!!
Was so awesome being a part of the Zoo, instead of the spectator. Got to see some of the stuff behind the fences, too. Got to know the Keepers better (see pic.

) and just had a great time.
Also, I got invited to come in sometime in the near future early and I will be given my own Zoo Keeper escort for a couple hours. During this time I will be able to shoot the animals inside the first fence, right at the second fence. YAY!!! No fencing in my shots!!! I plan to shoot at least 400 or 500 shots!!!
I am beat now though. Haven't work an honest day in years!!
